Overview

  • Leaked posts from hardware leaker momomo_us and ASUS support lists outline specifications for Ryzen 9 Pro 9945, Ryzen 7 Pro 9745 and Ryzen 5 Pro 9645 with up to 12 Zen 5 cores, 65 W TDP and integrated RDNA 2 graphics.
  • An ASUS CPU support listing spotted the Ryzen 7 9700F, AMD’s first Zen 5 desktop processor without an integrated GPU, offering 8 cores, 16 threads and a 3.8 GHz base clock.
  • All three Pro 9000 models and the 9700F are said to be drop-in compatible with existing AM5 motherboards and 600- and 800-series chipsets.
  • Reports from Chiphell and PC Gamer suggest that the upcoming Ryzen 9000G APU lineup may simply refresh the Zen 4-based 8000G series rather than deliver true Zen 5 APUs.
  • AMD has not officially confirmed any Ryzen Pro 9000, Ryzen 7 9700F or Ryzen 9000G APU launches, so final release dates and full specifications remain unverified.
