Leagues Cup 2024 Groups Announced

Tournament to Feature 47 Teams from MLS and Liga MX, with Top Three Finishers Qualifying for 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup

Leagues Cup 2024 groups have been announced, featuring 47 teams from MLS and Liga MX, with the tournament scheduled to run from July 26 through Aug. 25.
Two teams, the 2023 MLS Cup champion Columbus Crew and reigning Liga MX winner Club America, received direct byes into the Round of 32 knockout stage.
The teams were distributed into 15 groups of three, split into two regions, East and West, based on a new 'Leagues Cup Ranking' system that arranged teams into three tiers based on their 2023 regular season performances.
No group stage games will end in ties, with penalty shootouts for one additional point continuing for matches that are level after regulation play ends.
The top three finishers will qualify for the 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup.
