League One Volleyball (LOVB) launches its first professional season with six teams based in Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Madison, Omaha, and Salt Lake City.
The league integrates grassroots development with professional play, connecting each pro team to local junior volleyball clubs.
The inaugural season will include 60 matches over 14 weeks, culminating in a championship series in Louisville, Kentucky in April.
LOVB has secured over $160 million in funding and features prominent backers, including Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, WNBA star Candace Parker, and NBA player Kevin Durant.
Fans can watch matches on ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN+, and globally on DAZN, with the first game set for January 8 between LOVB Salt Lake and LOVB Atlanta.
