League of Legends Patch 14.3 Preview: Significant Changes Expected

Riot Games plans to adjust champion and item balance, with testing in the PBE determining the final changes.

  • League of Legends patch 14.3 is expected to bring significant changes to the game, including buffs to champions like Pyze, Ziggs, and Zeri, and nerfs to Azir, Karma, Lillia, and Brand.
  • Adjustments will also be made to champions like Shaco, Corki, and Yorick, and tweaks will be made to many of the items that are outliers in the season 14 meta.
  • Riot Games has stated that compared to peak durability update, Assassin, Mage and Marksmen are dying a little faster, but Fighters, Tanks and Supports are a bit more durable. 14.3 will bring further reductions to burst damage from items to correct this.
  • Changes to the ARAM mode are also expected in patch 14.3, with nerfs to overpowered items like Sundered Sky, Stormsurge, and Hubris, and changes to champions like Sivir and Ashe.
  • The final changes in patch 14.3 will be determined by Riot Games' testing in the PBE, and the patch is expected to drop next week on February 9, 2024.
