Leader of German Far-Right Party Charged for Using Nazi Slogan in Speech

Björn Höcke, a prominent figure in Germany's far-right Alternative for Germany party, has been charged with using a Nazi slogan in a 2021 speech.
He allegedly used the words "Everything for Germany!" which was originally used by the Nazis' SA stormtroopers.
Höcke heads the Thuringia branch of AfD and has expressed revisionist views of Germany's Nazi history in the past.
AfD has come under increasing scrutiny and its Thuringia branch is under formal observation by Germany's domestic intelligence agency.
The charges against Höcke come as support for AfD reaches a record high according to polls of Germany's mainstream parties.
