Lay's Reveals Finalists for Revived 'Do Us A Flavor' Contest

After a seven-year pause, Lay's announces three fan-inspired chip flavors, kicking off a nationwide voting period starting April 21.

  • The three finalist flavors are Bacon Grilled Cheese, Wavy Korean-Style Fried Chicken, and Valentina & Lime, each inspired by personal heritage and culinary nostalgia.
  • Paula George from Sapulpa, Oklahoma, created the Bacon Grilled Cheese flavor as a tribute to her late father's recipe.
  • Neelia Lynn of Chesterfield, Virginia, submitted the Wavy Korean-Style Fried Chicken flavor, inspired by her family's experiences in South Korea.
  • Araceli Huerta from San Jose, California, developed the Valentina & Lime flavor, based on her mother's favorite snack using Lay's Classic chips, Valentina hot sauce, and lime juice.
  • Consumers can purchase and vote for their favorite flavor from April 21 to June 13, with the winner receiving $1 million and two runners-up earning $50,000 each.
