Lawsuit Against Ex-Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Dismissed

Records turned over did not reveal impeachment advice given to Assembly Speaker Vos.

An open records lawsuit against former Wisconsin Supreme Court Chief Justice Patience Roggensack was dismissed after she turned over all records related to her work investigating the possible impeachment of Justice Janet Protasiewicz.
None of the records Roggensack produced revealed the impeachment advice she gave to Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.
Two other former justices, David Prosser and Jon Wilcox, both advised against impeachment.
The open records claim against Vos remains, with a status hearing set for January 25.
Vos is now suggesting he may attempt to impeach Protasiewicz if she does not rule in favor of upholding the current Republican-drawn maps.
