Laverne Cox and George Wallace Star in Norman Lear’s Posthumous Comedy 'Clean Slate'

'Clean Slate' follows Harry, a traditional Alabama car wash owner, reconnecting with his estranged child Desiree, a proud trans woman, after 23 years apart.
Laverne Cox and George Wallace lead the cast, with supporting roles from D.K. Uzoukwu, Telma Hopkins, Jay Wilkison, and Norah Murphy.
The series was co-created by Cox, Wallace, and Dan Ewen, with the late Norman Lear serving as an executive producer before his passing in December 2023.
The show blends humor and heart, tackling themes of unconditional love, generational differences, and self-discovery.
All eight episodes of the comedy will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting February 6, 2025.
