Overview

• The children, ages six and nine, were discovered in an abandoned farmhouse in Lauriano by Carabinieri during an eviction inspection after recent flooding.

• On June 27, the juvenile tribunal in Turin deemed the parents unfit, ordering the siblings’ removal to a protected community under Ciss di Chivasso supervision.
