Laurene Powell Jobs Visits Kashi Vishwanath Temple Before Maha Kumbh

Laurene Powell Jobs, wife of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi on Saturday, accompanied by Kailashanand Giri Maharaj of Niranjani Akhara.
Powell, who has been given the Hindu name 'Kamala,' followed temple traditions and prayed for the successful completion of the Maha Kumbh without obstacles.
She will attend the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj, which begins on January 13 and runs until February 26, and plans to take a sacred dip in the Ganga River.
The Niranjani Akhara announced that Maharshi Vyasanand, a disciple from the USA, will be inducted as a Mahamandaleshwar during the event.
The Uttar Pradesh government has implemented extensive security and logistical measures for the Maha Kumbh, expecting over 450 million attendees, including AI-powered surveillance and electric buses for seamless transportation.
