Laurence Fox Charged Under UK Upskirting Laws for Sharing Image of Narinder Kaur

The former GB News presenter is set to appear in court next month, facing up to two years in prison if convicted.

  • Laurence Fox has been charged with a sexual offence under section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 for sharing a compromising image of broadcaster Narinder Kaur on social media in April 2024.
  • The image, taken without Kaur's consent in 1996, was reported to police by Kaur, triggering an 11-month investigation by the Metropolitan Police.
  • Fox, 46, is scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on April 24, 2025, to enter a plea regarding the charge.
  • If convicted, Fox could face up to two years in prison and placement on the Sex Offenders Register under the UK's upskirting laws, introduced in 2019.
  • Kaur, who has waived her right to anonymity, described the incident as 'violating, humiliating, and degrading,' while Fox issued a partial apology but also deflected responsibility for the image's existence.
