Lauren Sánchez Prepares for Historic All-Female Blue Origin Space Mission

The crew includes pop star Katy Perry, journalist Gayle King, aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, activist Amanda Nguyen, and producer Kerianne Flynn.
This will be the first all-female space mission since Valentina Tereshkova's solo flight in 1963, with the team crossing the Kármán Line, the recognized boundary of space.
Sánchez emphasized the mission's goal of inspiring future generations and fostering a deeper appreciation for Earth through storytelling.
The 11-minute spaceflight is part of Blue Origin's space tourism program and marks its 11th human flight under the New Shepard program.
