Latest Reboot of Mortal Kombat to Hit Next-Gen Consoles This Fall

NetherRealm Studios announced Mortal Kombat 1, the latest entry in the fighting game franchise, launching September 19.
The game will reboot the series by introducing a new timeline created by series veteran Liu Kang and feature reimagined versions of classic characters like Raiden, Scorpion, and Sub-Zero.
Mortal Kombat 1 will introduce a new combat system and gameplay modes in addition to the bloody fatalities the series is known for.
The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC with multiple special editions offering bonuses like early access, additional characters, and collectibles.
A beta will be available in August for those who pre-order the game.
