Las Vegas Woman Accused of Deadly Romance Scam Targeting Older Men

Aurora Phelps, 43, is accused of using dating apps to target older men, drugging them to steal financial assets and personal information.
The FBI links Phelps to at least three deaths and one disappearance between 2019 and 2022, with additional victims potentially yet to be identified.
Phelps allegedly stole millions in assets, including cash, stock, vehicles, and retirement funds, often incapacitating victims with sedatives.
She is charged with 21 counts, including wire fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud, identity theft, kidnapping, and one count of kidnapping resulting in death.
Currently in custody in Mexico, Phelps faces extradition to the U.S., where she could receive a maximum sentence of life in prison if convicted.
