LA’s Microsoft Theater Rebrands as Peacock Theater in Major Naming Rights Deal
- Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles is renaming itself Peacock Theater.
- The open-air plaza next to the theater will now be called Peacock Place.
- The changes go into effect July 11 and are part of a multi-year naming rights agreement between Peacock and AEG.
- As part of the deal, an LED marquee featuring two video boards promoting Peacock programming will be added at the corner of Figueroa Street and Olympic Boulevard.
- Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming service, will also create a branded content studio at the site.
