• Paramedics took a 50-year-old man to a hospital for treatment of stab wounds, and authorities have not released his identity.
• The attacker fled on foot and was described as a man in his 30s wearing a blue jacket and blue pants.
• Metro said the incident occurred during an altercation between two passengers aboard the bus and thanked LAPD and LAFD for their response.
