• Robin Kaye and her husband Thomas Deluca were found dead inside their home on July 14 after a delayed welfare check revealed multiple gunshot wounds.
• Authorities arrested 22-year-old Raymond Boodarian on July 16 after he called 911 to identify himself and accuse himself of the killings.
• County officials say Boodarian used the couple’s own firearm in what investigators describe as a first-degree residential burglary and murder.
• Neighbors have called for sharper police protocols and the department has since deployed additional nighttime patrols, mounted units and automated license plate readers in Encino.
