Overview

  • Police executed a preplanned sting called Operation Street Sweeper at the intersection of S. Figueroa and W. Alondra early Saturday, surrounding a crowd of roughly 700 people and blocking exits.
  • LAPD reported 69 arrests, 570 citations and more than 200 vehicles impounded, and officers recovered seven firearms and canisters of nitrous oxide.
