Overview

  • Search and recovery continue near the Bhallu/Bhalughat bridge in Jhandutta after mud, rocks and boulders swept onto the roadway around 6:30 p.m.
  • Officials confirmed 15 fatalities and three rescues, while PTI and a local MLA reported 18 bodies recovered as counts remain in flux.
  • The private bus was traveling from Rohtak to Ghumarwin with roughly 30–35 passengers when it was struck and buried.
