Lando Norris Drives Life-Size LEGO McLaren P1 at Silverstone

The fully functional replica, made from 342,817 LEGO pieces, completed a lap at the iconic circuit, hitting speeds up to 40 mph.

The LEGO McLaren P1 was built using 342,817 LEGO Technic pieces and weighs 2,690 pounds.
A team of 23 specialists spent 8,344 hours designing and assembling the car.
The car features 768 LEGO motors, an electric motor, and a functional steering wheel.
Lando Norris, a McLaren F1 driver, successfully completed a lap around the Silverstone Circuit in the LEGO P1.
This marks the first time a LEGO-built car has been able to navigate corners on a racetrack.
