Overview

• The Lancaster University maths student rang the end-of-treatment bell in May 2024 after chemotherapy and proton beam therapy for Hodgkin lymphoma.
• In June 2025 he developed flu-like illness and chest pain, was treated initially for pneumonia and sepsis, and was later diagnosed with treatment-induced acute myeloid leukaemia.
• He died on June 26 at age 20 from sepsis caused by a bacterial infection, according to his family.
