Lancashire Couple Wins £61m EuroMillions Jackpot

Richard and Debbie Nuttall discovered their life-changing win while celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary in Fuerteventura.

The Nuttalls initially thought they had won £2.60, only to find out they had won a £61 million share of a £123 million jackpot.
After struggling with poor mobile signal, they confirmed their win with The National Lottery during a frantic search for better reception.
The couple plans to retire early, with Debbie already having handed in her notice and Richard to cease working by the end of the tax year.
They intend to buy a new family home in Lancashire, a holiday home in Portugal, and support the charity BK's Heroes, in memory of their nephew.
This win marks the first UK EuroMillions jackpot of 2024, following six UK wins in 2023, including a £111.7 million jackpot.
