Overview

  • Lambeth Council’s planning applications committee has granted permission for the Lambeth Innovative Housing Project at 60 Sancroft Street.
  • This third site follows the opening of Homewards projects in Aberdeen and Sheffield as part of the five-year campaign to end homelessness.
  • Homewards Activator, the Duchy of Cornwall, Centrepoint and Lambeth Council will partner to deliver 16 independent flats for 18- to 25-year-olds at risk of homelessness.
  • Rent will be linked to residents’ earnings and combined with tailored employment support to build financial resilience and stable tenancies.
  • Construction is scheduled to begin shortly, with the homes slated to be ready for occupation by the end of 2026.
