• Brown, a Baton Rouge native, made his announcement during a SportsCenter ceremony at University Laboratory School on July 10.
• The 6-foot-5, 285-pound defensive lineman is ESPN’s No. 1 overall recruit for the 2026 class and compiled 91 tackles and eight sacks across his high school career.
• His decision gives LSU its first top-ranked signee since Leonard Fournette in 2014 and elevates the Tigers into the top 10 of ESPN’s 2026 recruiting class.
• Texas A&M hosted Brown at least eight times since June 2024 and briefly appeared to lead his recruitment before his late-June visit to LSU proved decisive.
