Overview

  • Luka Dončić is listed day-to-day with a lower left leg contusion and will not play Tuesday in Phoenix, the team confirmed after practice.
  • Head coach JJ Redick said Dončić was kneed by Bogdan Bogdanović in the first half against the Clippers and was seen with his leg taped at Monday’s session.
  • Deandre Ayton practiced fully, was removed from the injury report, and is expected to play against his former team.
  • Austin Reaves participated in portions of practice and is questionable for the Suns game, while Rui Hachimura (groin) and Gabe Vincent (back) are out.
  • The updates come after a 103-88 loss to the Clippers in which Los Angeles was severely short-handed, with the Lakers now managing availability ahead of Christmas vs. Houston.
