Overview

• Fire ignited at about 2:15 p.m. near Eastlake Drive and 3rd Street in Clearlake.
• Cal Fire confirmed that at least two structures are involved in the blaze near Eastlake Drive.
• By 3:20 p.m. the fire had grown to roughly 100 acres, rapidly overwhelming initial containment efforts.
• The Lake County Sheriff’s Office issued evacuation warnings for zones CLE-E126 and the west side of CLE-E123.
• Cal Fire has mobilized 15 engines, five dozers, four hand crews, three water tenders, two helicopters, six air tankers and one tactical aircraft to combat the fire overnight.
