Lahore High Court Rolls Out Linked Digital Systems for Payments, Deposits and Inventory

Court payments now carry bank-verified PSIDs, with a link to the Accountant General’s Office planned next.

Overview

  • Chief Justice Aalia Neelum launched three platforms: the Civil Courts Accounts Management System, the Judicial Deposits and Securities Management System, and an Inventory Management System.
  • The accounts platform is connected to the Case Management System and the National Bank of Pakistan so Challan Form 32-A is auto-generated with a unique PSID for verification.
  • Designated judicial officers can issue payment orders online, and the Banking and Funds Management Wing has electronic oversight of accounts.
  • The deposits and securities system digitizes funds held under court orders, enabling branch-level and aggregate records to reduce errors and improve transparency.
  • The inventory tool tracks court assets from receipt to distribution, issues expiry alerts, enforces stock SOPs, and drew public praise from lawyer groups at the launch.
