Overview
- A Lahore judicial magistrate extended by three days the physical remand of six NCCIA officials after the FIA sought more time to investigate.
 - The FIA told the court it has recovered Rs45.8 million so far and said further custody is needed to trace additional victims and funds.
 - Defence counsel opposed the request, noting the alleged loss was Rs9 million, questioning the absence of a complainant and any recorded witness statements.
 - Those remanded include Additional Director Sarfraz Chaudhry along with Zafar, Shoaib Riaz, Ali Raza, Mujtaba Zafar and Yasir, who are accused of taking bribes from the YouTuber’s wife.
 - Separately, the Lahore High Court scheduled Saad ur Rehman’s post-arrest bail hearing for today as investigators allege he promoted illegal gambling apps, recovered Rs21 million from his accounts and cite a purported $326,000 Binance transfer linked to an accused officer.
