In a Busted Open interview, Lane said she and Kacy Catanzaro emailed Brian “Road Dogg” James seeking a premium live event opportunity and received the reply, “Timing is everything.”
Lane recounted breaking down with Catanzaro after their SmackDown in-ring debut in London, saying they felt “set up” and got no actionable feedback following a six-minute loss to Alba Fyre and Piper Niven.
She recalled Ronda Rousey pushing for more time in their 2023 Raw debut against Rousey and Shayna Baszler, which Lane viewed as a strong showcase for the women’s tag division.
Fightful notes their last WWE match came on the April 11 SmackDown in a gauntlet bout for a Women’s Tag Team Title shot; both were released in May 2025.
