Overview
- Competition will begin on Aug. 13, two days before the Aug. 15 opening ceremony at SoFi Stadium, starting with wheelchair rugby and followed by boccia on Aug. 14.
- The first medals are scheduled for Aug. 16 in para athletics, wheelchair fencing, shooting para sport, para equestrian and track cycling.
- The program features 23 sports and 560 medal events across 294 sessions developed with international federations and Olympic Broadcasting Services.
- Para climbing will make its Paralympic debut with four days of competition from Aug. 24 in Long Beach.
- The Games conclude on Aug. 27 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, with a detailed event-by-event schedule due in 2026 and ticket sales set for 2027.
