Overview

• LA28 released its first competition schedule with track and field opening from July 15–24 and swimming shifted to July 22–30.
• Cricket returns to the Olympics after a 128-year absence with men’s and women’s T20 tournaments set for July 12–29 at Pomona’s Fairgrounds Cricket Stadium.
• Each gender’s cricket competition is capped at six teams and 90 athlete quotas, enabling 15-member squads per side.
