LA28 Sets Jan. 14 Ticket-Draw Registration, Pledges $28 Seats

Organizers describe a randomized, digital process intended to broaden access, deter brokers, prioritize local fans.

Overview

  • Fans can register for the draw from Jan. 14 to March 18, 2026 at la28.org, with no fee, no payment required and no advantage to early sign-ups.
  • Registrants enter a random draw that assigns purchase time slots beginning in April 2026, with those not selected automatically entered into subsequent ticket drops.
  • LA28 commits to at least one million tickets priced at $28, says every sport will start at $28 and estimates about one-third of tickets will cost under $100.
  • Residents near venues in the Los Angeles area and in Oklahoma City will receive a locals' presale opportunity before wider public access.
  • All tickets will be digital via AXS and Eventim, LA28 expects to release about 14 million tickets in total and Paralympic sales will open in 2027 with hospitality packages sold by On Location.
