Overview

• The victim, identified as Atilio Mario Driussi, suffered a deep wound to his left groin area while pruning a tree at his Lisandro Olmos residence.
• His son, Daniel, found him face down in the patio in a pool of blood, and a friend of the son called 911.
• Police and a SAME ambulance arrived within minutes, and a Policía Científica unit carried out routine on‑scene forensic work.
• Officers located a bloodstained chainsaw and a hand grinder near the body, and investigators reported no signs of forced entry, damage, or theft.
• Prosecutor Martín Almirón of UFI Nº 8 ordered the transfer of the body to the La Plata judicial morgue for autopsy and opened proceedings under the label “Averiguación causales de muerte”.
