Overview

• The festival runs through Sunday, when the 22:00 Piromusical will close La Mercè with fireworks by Pirotecnia Igual and a soundtrack selected by Estopa.
• Montjuïc’s monumental area around the Magic Fountain and MNAC will close to pedestrians from 15:00 on Sunday, with the only vehicle access via calle Foc and shuttle buses starting at 16:30.
• Metro service will be reinforced across all lines, with extra capacity on L1 and L3 and additional staffing at Espanya stations and Foc on L10.
• Programming intensifies across new and established sites, from street arts in parks and concerts at Bogatell to citywide stages, with Manchester participating as guest city.
• Food and access highlights include the Terra i Gust fair in Parc de la Ciutadella, the Chop Stick Fest at Parc de l’Estació del Nord, Barcelona Hotel Bar Week with €12 cocktails at about 25 hotels, and nearly 50 museums and landmarks offering free entry.
