A La Liga match between Granada and Athletic Bilbao was suspended and later resumed due to the death of a fan in the stands from cardiac arrest.
The game was initially halted 17 minutes in, after Athletic goalkeeper Unai Simón alerted the referee to a problem with a supporter.
The match, which was leading 1-0 in favor of Athletic Bilbao due to a goal by Iñaki Williams, was resumed the following day.
Both clubs laid flowers on the fan’s seat and held a minute’s silence before the restart of the match.
The game ended in a 1-1 draw, with Granada equalizing 10 minutes into the second half.
