La Lá Debuts “También te vi” on COLORS, Previews Live-Only Album Project

The Peruvian singer is framing her next album around acoustic, in-person performances after unveiling a politically charged single on the platform.

Overview

  • The COLORS session released on September 29 features “También te vi,” the first preview of her fifth album, El Reino de Dios está entre los árboles, slated for 2026.
  • The performance was recorded in New York in June and is being reported as the platform’s first appearance by a Peruvian artist.
  • La Lá describes the festejo as a dedication to countries plundered by economic interests and as a statement on unequal treatment of vulnerability.
  • She will present unpublished material at La Noche de Barranco in Lima on October 18 in a quintet with Tate Passaro, César Gabriel Riveros, Daira Bismarck and Leo Barraza, with guest Dafne Castañeda.
  • The forthcoming project is planned to be offered only live and in acoustic sessions, emphasizing an intimate, artisanal approach.
