LA Galaxy's Tyler Boyd Traded to Nashville SC

Nashville signs Boyd to multiyear deal, Galaxy receives international roster spots and allocation money in return

Tyler Boyd, a midfielder from the LA Galaxy, has been traded to Nashville SC.
Nashville SC has signed Boyd to a multiyear deal through 2026, with an option for 2027.
The Galaxy will receive two international roster spots and $150,000 in general allocation money (GAM) from Nashville, with a potential additional $625,000 in GAM based on Boyd's performance.
Boyd, who had a base salary of $275,000 last season, tied for the Galaxy lead with seven MLS goals and also had four assists.
Boyd, born in New Zealand, has dual citizenship and joined the U.S. national team in 2019, scoring two goals in 10 international appearances.
