LA Galaxy fire longtime president Chris Klein following multiple losing seasons

Chris Klein was fired as president of the LA Galaxy after the club struggled for years and violated MLS rules.
The Galaxy have missed the playoffs four of the last six seasons and are currently in last place.
Klein was suspended earlier this year for improperly reporting the signing of a player, preventing the club from making more international signings this summer.
The contracts of the team's star players, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez and Douglas Costa, are expiring.
Klein played 16 seasons for the Galaxy and U.S. Soccer before becoming team president, but was let go to find new leadership.
