• On July 18, LA Galaxy indefinitely banned Angel City Brigade member Bruce Martin for using a game-day credential to bring in an unapproved protest banner targeting AEG.
• The club also suspended additional supporters after Galaxy staff reported online and in-person harassment following Martin’s public sharing of his ban notice.
• Galaxy officials have held multiple one-on-one and small-group meetings with supporter group leaders to preapprove future banners and ensure compliance with the league’s ban on political signage.
• Earlier this month, Angel City Brigade and allied groups staged a march-in with protest banners, a 12-minute walkout and a silent demonstration to press the team to denounce ICE raids.
• Other MLS clubs, including LAFC and Austin FC, allowed “ABOLISH ICE” displays without discipline, highlighting inconsistent enforcement of the league’s political-speech code.
