Overview

  • Williams finished with 16 carries for 80 yards and two rushing touchdowns plus 10 catches for 67 yards for 146 scrimmage yards on 26 touches.
  • He scored the go-ahead touchdown with under 1:30 left, dragging a defender into the end zone to put the Rams ahead for good in the comeback win.
  • Quarterback Matthew Stafford praised Williams as “one of the most consistent guys I’ve been around” after a 32-of-51, 317-yard performance that included two interceptions.
  • ESPN Research identified Williams as the first player this season with 10 receptions and two rushing touchdowns in a game, a performance that raises his fantasy profile.
  • Despite the breakout, the Rams remain 2-2 and earlier signs of a split backfield with Blake Corum mean this single game does not yet settle long-term touch allocation.
