Kyle, Texas Attempts World Record for Largest Same-Name Gathering

The city aims to gather over 2,300 people named Kyle to break the Guinness World Record this Saturday.

The event, part of the Kyle Fair A Tex-Travaganza, will take place at Lake Kyle Park.
This is the fifth year the city is attempting to break the record, currently held by 2,325 Ivans in Bosnia.
Only individuals with the first name Kyle, spelled exactly, can participate in the official count.
Last year, nearly 1,500 Kyles attended, falling short by 836 participants.
The festival will also feature concerts, cooking competitions, fair rides, and a 5K run.
