- KVS published the second provisional Class 1 list for 2026–27 to fill seats left after the first round.
- A third, final tentative list is slated for April 21 to allocate any remaining vacancies.
- Parents can check status on kvsangathan.nic.in, admission.kvs.gov.in, or the Education Ministry’s KVS page.
- Candidates shown as Selected must complete document checks at their allotted school, which confirm seats only after verifying the birth certificate, address proof, photos, and any caste or service papers.
- Waiting-list applicants still have a chance if seats open after verification, and the post-lottery number reflects each child’s position in the computerized, category-wise draw.
