Kuwait-Based Father Kills Alleged Molester of His Daughter in Andhra Pradesh

The man confessed to the murder in a video after claiming police failed to act on his daughter's abuse complaint.

A 35-year-old man, Anjaneya Prasad, flew from Kuwait to Andhra Pradesh to confront his 59-year-old relative, P. Anjaneyulu, over allegations of sexually abusing his minor daughter.
Prasad killed Anjaneyulu with an iron rod on the night of December 6-7 while the latter was sleeping outside his home in Obulavaripalli, Annamayya district.
Following the incident, Prasad returned to Kuwait and posted a video confession online, alleging police inaction on his daughter's complaint.
The police have registered a murder case against Prasad and are actively searching for his arrest.
The case highlights broader concerns about child safety in India, with recent data showing a rise in crimes against minors, including sexual offenses under the POCSO Act.
