Overview
- KTM India has officially teased the Duke 160 via Instagram, signaling the end of the Duke 125 and RC 125 range.
- The upcoming streetfighter rides on the Gen-2 200 Duke chassis, featuring a trellis frame, 43mm USD forks, a rear monoshock, dual-channel ABS and a digital LCD instrument cluster.
- Under the tank sits a new 160cc engine derived from the 200 Duke motor, tuned to deliver approximately 19–20 horsepower for a significant boost over its predecessor.
- Market sources project an ex-showroom price of around Rs 1.70 lakh, positioning the Duke 160 against segment leaders like the Yamaha MT-15, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, TVS Apache RTR 160 and Honda Hornet 2.0.
- KTM aims to unveil the model in mid-August 2025 to tap into India’s festive-season buying spree in the highly competitive 150-160cc segment.
