Overview
- The 160 Duke is powered by a 164.2cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces a class-leading 19 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 15.5 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm.
- It replaces the discontinued 125 Duke and slots below the Duke 200 as KTM’s most affordable entry in its streetfighter lineup.
- Premium equipment includes LED headlights, a 5-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity, dual-channel ABS and WP Apex upside-down front forks.
- Built on the second-generation 200 Duke platform, the model leverages Bajaj’s local manufacturing and supply-chain synergies to keep costs competitive.
- The debut positions KTM to challenge rivals in India’s 150–160 cc segment, including the Yamaha MT-15, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, TVS Apache RTR 160 and Honda Hornet 2.0.
