Overview
- Online applications are open from August 29 through September 18 with fee payment due by September 19 on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
- Admit cards will be issued on October 24, and the test will run in a single OMR-based session from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on November 2.
- Eligibility requires at least 55% in a Master’s for General candidates and 50% for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and transgender applicants, with final-year and awaiting-result students allowed to apply.
- The fee is ₹1,000 for General, Cat-IIA/IIB/IIIB and other-state candidates and ₹700 for Cat I, SC, ST, PwD and transgender applicants, payable online.
- The exam comprises Paper I with 50 two-mark questions on teaching and research aptitude, reasoning, comprehension and general awareness, and Paper II with 100 subject-specific two-mark questions answered on OMR sheets.
