Kroger Pulls Peach Salsas as Moonlight Peaches Recall Widens Over Listeria Risk

No illnesses have been reported as regulators urge customers to avoid the listed items.

  • JFE Franchising recalled SNOWFRUIT Peach Salsa sold at Kroger with sell-by dates Nov. 3–4, 2025 (UPC 639123940636), and Supreme LLC recalled Supreme Produce Peach Salsa with best-by dates Oct. 12–29, 2025 (UPC 85006540364).
  • The recalled salsas were distributed through Kroger in numerous states across its retail network, according to company and FDA notices.
  • Moonlight Companies initiated a Oct. 29 recall of select lots of California-grown yellow and white peaches after Listeria monocytogenes was detected at the packing facility.
  • Affected peaches were sold nationwide Sept. 16–Oct. 29 under Moonlight Yellow Peaches, Moonlight White Peaches, Moonlight “Peppermint Peaches” and Kroger Yellow Peaches, identifiable by PLU stickers 4044 or 4401 and specified UPCs; items labeled “Washington” or “Organic” are not included.
  • The FDA advises consumers to not eat the listed products and to return them for a refund or dispose of them, noting no illnesses or complaints have been reported to date.
