In his debut for the Boston Celtics, Kristaps Porzingis scored an impressive and record-breaking 30 points, leading the team to a 108-104 victory over his former team, the New York Knicks.
Porzingis's Celtics debut saw him score 15 points in the first period, securing a record for the most points scored in a Celtics debut, previously held by Dominique Wilkins with 25 in 1994.
Despite initial booing from Knicks fans, Porzingis stayed poised, managing to sink nine consecutive points in the final two and a half minutes of the game, effectively securing the Celtics' victory.
