- Tourism, Culture and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh inaugurated the two-day programme at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on December 6.
- The minister said proposals had been sent to the Union government to establish a National School of Drama in Andhra Pradesh.
- The event is organised by the Union Ministry of Tourism in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Sangeet Natak Akademi, with support from Andhra Pradesh Tourism and the State Culture Department.
- The schedule features 18 concerts by 98 artistes across December 6–7, including a dawn Pancharatna Kritis at Durga Ghat on December 7 led by the Malladi Brothers with faculty and students from the government music colleges in Vijayawada and Guntur.
- A crafts and handloom showcase highlights GI-tagged traditions such as Kondapalli and Etikoppaka toys, Narsapur lace, leather puppetry and noted handloom clusters, with free public entry and livestreaming on the Tourism Ministry’s YouTube channel.
