Kravchuk Tops Day 2ABC as WSOP Main Event Shifts to Day 2D

Late registration for Day 2D begins under dim prospects of surpassing last year’s entry record.

The WSOP Main Event has drawn a field of 9,143 entrants – with only Day 2D late registrants left to enter the fray.

  • After 2,946 players returned on Day 2ABC, 1,320 advanced to Day 3 of the Main Event.
  • Oleksii Kravchuk bagged a tournament-leading 937,500 chips at the close of Day 2ABC.
  • The Main Event has attracted 9,149 entrants so far, falling short of last year’s 10,112-player record.
  • Cary Katz won Event #83 for his first WSOP bracelet and $449,245, and Zdenek Zizka claimed Event #84 with a $232,498 prize.
  • Shaun Deeb’s runner-up result in Event #84 added 532 Player of the Year points, extending his seasonal lead.
